In any DCC system,
the first thing you need is a controller, to control your trains and turnouts
on your layout. The Atlas Commander is a DCC command station and power station
in one. The lightweight unit gives you the ability to control speed and functions
- like headlights, ditchlights and sound - of up to 99 decoder-equipped locomotives
and 99 decoder-equipped accessories (ie. - turnouts). So by turning a dial you
control the speed, and by pushing buttons you can turn the headlights of locomotives
on or off, or change the direction an engine is traveling. It supports up to five
additional Commanders and/or walk-around throttles and three additional power
stations (for added power). Features of the Atlas Commander include: *Controls

These steam-era
classics were the backbone of hopper fleets on many roads, lasting into the diesel-era
in maintenance service. Each model features prototypical painting and lettering,
a diecast underframe and slope sheets, friction bearing trucks, AccuMate operating
knuckle couplers, a highly-detailed plastic body with removable coal load and
flat or peaked ends as per the prototype. Includes throttle, universal panel connector,
6' coiled cord and 7'cable wire. Add complete walk-around capability to the Atlas
Commander, or any other system that supports XpressNet technology. Some features
include stack function for simple recall of up to eight locomotives and more.
This set includes both the Commander and
the Generator to speed your conversion to DCC. The Commander functions as command

The second part of Atlas' Master DCC System
is the power supply. The Atlas Generator provides power to the Atlas Commander

six outputs; each can be used to to control either multiple twin-coil or multiple
