The Idaho Hotel is based on old wooden hotels that offered bed and board to visitors from the 1800s to the early 1900s. This laser-cut wood kit features upper and lower balconies with wood railings and includes plastic windows to speed construction. The kit also includes plenty of cast-metal details and more. It'll look great on any steam-era layout serving as a hotel or as quarters for railroad crews. |

All of these structures were built from the new Bar Mills "The One Kit" Forget about kit-bashing ... this kit is designed for scratchbuilding. Each kit includes laser-cut walls, windows, doors, paper signs, window glazing and a complete "How-To" idea book These entire scenes above were constructed from several "The One-Kits". All you need to add are roofing materials, roofing details ... and your imagination! |

Our 2nd major release, this structure features everything from "cedar-shake" shingles, to brass lobster traps... ad it's all part of the kit! Few things irk us more than building a kit that lack details... that means we have track them down & buy them, and it can not only be time-consuming, but expensive as well. Bar Mills kits have never had a shortage of details, we didn't need many for this kit, but a couple of white metal castings such as the boats & anchor for the building face seem to be just about right for this type of small seaport structure. Naturally the signs & a full instruction booklet are included ! |

BRASS LOBSTER TRAPS... These new "Lobstertraps" are made of brass, require no gluing, and very little construction time. Pictured is the HO-S scale version. The traps come (8) to a kit, (6) of the arched-top model, and (2) of the more rectangular shape boxes. |
